Sin City: There are Laws To Follow

By Chris Linch

Las Vegas, Nevada is the party headquarters of the USA. It is also known as Sin City because of its never sleep policy. Drinking and gambling are offered around the clock. Local law enforcement is kept busy catching drunk drivers. If you are caught drinking and driving, contact a local Attorney that specializes in DUI's to handle the situation.

In Vegas alcohol consumption is widely accepted. People often go overboard, and make themselves sick. Instead of driving, utilizing on of the many taxi's available is a good idea.

Public intoxication is a common offense in Las Vegas. People tend to act foolish when under the influence of alcohol. This creates a problem for police. Vegas has laws like any other town, even though they are more lenient. Police will issue citations to those who do not act accordingly.

Alcohol and crime often go hand in hand. Many people loose their sense of judgment. For women this can become a problem. When drinking, be careful of predators that will often try to take advantage of women in an inebriated state. Sexual assault and rape are often perpetrated after meeting a man while drinking. Often the perpetrator gets away with it, because of the woman's impaired state of mind.

On your next trip to Las Vegas remember to party responsibly. Do not break the law, or you may find yourself in trouble instead of enjoying a vacation.

The point here is to be wise when you travel to Las Vegas. We know it is known as sin city, and that what goes there stays there, but you don't want to be the one staying there because you have broken the law. We also don't want you to come home broke because you spent all your money being stupid gambling or breaking the law. Keep a good sense of those around you and make sure you are doing what a good citizen would do even if you are having fun doing it. - 29868
