Sailing The Seas Of The Bahamas, Caribbean And Mexico On A Spring Break Cruise

Attending school can be a challenge. Your brain trying to hold as much knowledge as possible until the next exam can be mind boggling. So what can be done to help this? In March, during spring break, classmates world wide get a 7 day long break to re energize their batteries. Several countries like the United States, Mexico, China and Japan to just name some practice this tradition. Several choose to take cruises to exotic destinations such as the Bahamas, Caribbean, and Mexico.

There are several options for families who choose or want to try a family cruise trip. One concern for families is the implications out there about the drinking, drug use, compromising behaviors, and safety during the cruise. Cruise liner companies have cruises that are more family oriented with more than a million children sailing every year. Cruises are now offering such activities as planetariums, ice rinks, movies and more.

Picking a cruise vacation has turned into a more challenging task in the past couple years. The choices are never ending and a lot of investigating has to be done to find the correct cruise for you. Whether you are vacationing with the family or with a bunch of your friends you will have many choices that can take you from one cruise line or another.

Shore and ship excursions will vary depending on the age of your family. Knowing the interest of your children will help you navigate through these options. Younger children may have more fun staying on board in a children's club or a nursery if available. Among the amenities offered by these cruises are dolphin encounters, snorkeling, rock-climbing walls, the latest video games, and water slides. For teens, you may find shore excursions (limited), spa programs, sun decks, and even teen-only discos.

On the other side, being a college student on break can be a real bummer if you have to lookout for younger vacationers and their moms and dads. When planning your trip to the Bahamas with ports of entry such as Nassau or Freeport you will definitely want adult activities. Many college students think that the drinking age on cruise ships is younger or not there at all that is not true.

On such scenic cruises, one myth of these cruises is that their policies about the drinking age of 21 aren't enforced once you leave certain ports. The truth of the matter is that the drinking age will vary across lines- European companies may lower the drinking age to 18 when sailing from non-United States ports. Make sure you fully read and be familiar with the policy's of the cruise liner in which you are traveling on.

Although most cruises provide the same, if not similar, activities ports of call can change dramatically. The Caribbean ports like Antigua, Grand Cayman and Aruba to name a few live on tourist dollars so accommodations are made to entice all who come near. Acapulco, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas in Mexico like the other ports around the world have become the industry's standard when it comes to vacationing spots. All have beautiful attractions, like night-clubs and casinos plus miles of pristine beaches.

Keep in mind that not all cruise destinations are for everybody. When picking a cruise for spring break have it be the Bahamas, Caribbean or Mexico, think about who will be traveling with you. Family vacations could be a catastrophe if there are to many college students hanging around while on the other hand college students want to stay away from cruises that focus on families only. With any of the cruises you choose one thing is for sure; you will definitely be fed well. - 29868
